Obituary

Christopher Paul Reinhart Jr. passed away on June 8, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with mental illness.  He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and coworker whose kindness, humor, and caring heart touched the lives of many.

Christopher was born to Christopher Paul Reinhart Sr. and Maria Reinhart.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Reinhart, whose loss deeply affected him.  His Grandmother Betty Romano and Grandfather Frank "Fluffy" Romano.  He is survived by his father, Christopher Paul Reinhart Sr. , his loving siblings, Bettina Reinhart (Jesse Anderson), Joseph Reinhart (Leah Reinhart), Anna Reinhart (Thomas Berray), and Mary Reinhart.

He was a proud uncle to Michael Jones Jr., James Berray, Brodie Berray and Jacxson Khol, and a cherished great-uncle figure and family member to his nieces, Bella Berray, Giana Reinhart, and many others who loved him dearly.

Christopher is also survived by his great-uncles, Tim Romano, Mark Reinhart and Frank Reinhart; his great-aunts, Terri Hart and Debbie Sidell; and countless extended family members and lifelong friends, including the many special friends who were a part of "The Deerfield Crew."

Christopher graduated from Deerfield High School and later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.  He took great pride in his work at Kwik Trip in Edgerton and genuinely loved serving and helping others.  He was a true people person who could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel valued and heard.

As a child and throughout his life, Christopher was known as the class clown.  He loved making people laugh and had a gift for bringing smiles to those around him.  Even during his own struggles, he always found the strength to listen, support, and give to others.  He was fiercely protective of his sisters and never hesitated to stand up for someone being mistreated.  His compassion, loyalty, and sense of justice were qualities that defined him.

Mental illness was a battle Christopher fought everyday.  While that battle ultimately took him from us, it never diminished the goodness of his heart or the love he carried for his family and friends.

Christopher leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, friendship, and unconditional love.  Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories he gave us and the lives he touched.

Christopher, we will carry your memory with us for the rest of our lives.  We will speak your name often, share your stories and keep your spirit alive in our hearts.  You will never be forgotten.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
